AMC Banking 365 BC - Apply Vendors

If the Auto Match process cannot relate the Payment Reconciliation Line to any Vendor open ledger entries, or if the relation found is not correct or sufficient, you can use the Apply Vendors page to manually manage the application between the Payment Reconciliation Line and the relevant vendor open ledger entries.

You can access the Apply Vendors (AMC) by navigating to AMC Banking > Payment Reconciliation Journal > Edit Journal > Manual Application > Apply Vendors (AMC).

General

Posting date
Specifies the posting date from the Payment Reconciliation Journal line .
This date is used to find the correct exchange rate when applying entries in different currencies.

Applies-to ID
Specifies the Applies-to ID for the Payment Reconciliation Journal line.

Description
Specifies the description of the Payment Reconciliation Journal line.

Vendor No.
Specifies the number of the Vendor account that the Payment Reconciliation Journal line is linked to.

Vendor name
Specifies the vendor name of the vendor account.

Currency Code
Specifies the code for the currency that amounts are shown in.

Statement amount
Specifies the statement amount on the Payment Reconciliation Journal line to be applied.

Applied Amount
Specifies the applied amount on the Payment Reconciliation Journal line that has been applied.

Difference
Specifies how much of the statement amount remains to be applied to open entries.

Applied-to ID
Specifies the applied-to ID of entries that will be applied to when you choose the Close & Save action.

Posting date
Specifies the Vendor entry's posting date.

Document Type
Specifies the document type that the Vendor entry belongs to.

Document No.
Specifies the Vendor entry's document number.

External Document No.
Specifies a document number that refers to the vendor's or vendor's numbering system.

Vendor No.
Specifies the number of the Vendor account that the entry is linked to.

Description
Specifies a description of the Vendor entry.

Currency Code
Specifies the currency code for the amount on the line.

Remaining Amount
Specifies the amount that remains to be applied to before the entry is totally applied to.

Appln. Remaining Amount
Specifies the amount that remains to be applied to before the entry is totally applied to.

Amount to apply
Specifies the amount to apply.

Due Date
Specifies a due date of the Vendor entry.

Pmt. Discount Date
Specifies the date on which the amount in the entry must be paid for a payment discount to be granted.

Pmt. Disc. Tolerance Date
Specifies the latest date the amount in the entry must be paid in order for payment discount tolerance to be granted.

Payment Reference
Specifies the payment reference of the Vendor entry.

Remaining Pmt. Disc. Possible
Specifies the remaining payment discount which can be received if the payment is made before the payment discount date.

Appln. Pmt. Dic. Possible
Specifies the discount that you can obtain if the entry is applied to before the payment discount date.

Max. Payment Tolerance
Specifies the maximum tolerated amount the entry can differ from the amount on the invoice or credit memo.

Open
Specifies whether the amount on the entry has been fully paid or there is still a remaining amount that must be applied to.

Positive
Specifies if the entry to be applied is positive

Department Code
Specifies the code for the global dimension that is linked to the record or entry for analysis purposes. Two global dimensions, typically for the company's most important activities, are available on all cards, documents, reports, and lists.

Customergroup Code
Specifies the code for the global dimension that is linked to the record or entry for analysis purposes. Two global dimensions, typically for the company's most important activities, are available on all cards, documents, reports, and lists.

Set Applies-to ID


Set the Applies-to ID field on the posted entry to automatically be filled in with the document number of the entry in the journal. You can select multiple lines and add the Apply-to ID to all of them simultaneously.

Close & save

Close page and save applied entries to the statement line.

Show Posted Document

Show details for the posted payment, invoice, or credit memo.

Show Document Attached

View documents or images that are attached to the posted invoice or credit memo.

Bank Transaction References

View the bank references that exists in an imported bankfile for the selected line.

Entry

  • Find entries
    Find entries and documents that exist for the document number and posting date on the selected document. (Formerly this action was named Navigate.)

  • Dimensions
    View or edit dimensions, such as area, project, or department, that you can assign to sales and purchase documents to distribute costs and analyze transaction history.

  • Applied Entries
    View the ledger entries that have been applied to this record.

  • Detailed Ledger Entries
    View a summary of the all posted entries and adjustments related to a specific Vendor ledger entry.

Close (Button)

If you click the Close button and there are unsaved changes to the applications, you will receive the following message:
“Payment applications exist. Do you want to close and save these to the Payment Reconciliation Line?”

If you answer Yes, the changes will be saved to the Payment Reconciliation Line; otherwise, the changes will be discarded.
