Step 5: Employee Sign-Off

This guide provides a step-by-step process for employees to complete their annual review sign-off efficiently. It clarifies the importance of understanding the rating system and emphasizes that signing does not imply agreement but confirms receipt of the review. By following this guide, employees can ensure they complete their evaluations accurately and provide any necessary feedback, making the review process smoother and more transparent.

Navigate to <https://cornerstone.ou.edu>

Under your action items list, click "Please complete your annual review task."

If you are a manager, you may also see "Please complete the annual review task for your direct report(s)." This is for you to deliver reviews to your employees and not what you need to sign your own review.

Click "Sections"

Review Your Score

In the Summary section, you can see your ratings for each section (University Competencies, Current Year Goals, and Department Specific Contributions), as well as your overall score.

As a reminder, the University uses a 10-point rating scale. We ask managers to begin their evaluation at a 5, which represents "consistent and reliable execution". [Click here to learn more about the rating scales](https://hr.ou.edu/evaluations#9441750-rating-scales).

To see your full review, click on "Options" and then click "Print Review"

When you are ready, click "Next" to continue.

Sign Your Annual Review

It's important to remember that "your signature ***does not*** indicate agreement or disagreement with the annual review; it only confirms that you have received this information and had the opportunity to provide comment(s)." When ready, click the box next to the acknowledgement.

Then click "Sign"

(Optional - Add Comments)

(Optional) If you would like, click the text box under "Comments" to add any additional comments on the performance review. NOTE: Your supervisor will be able to see any comments you provide.

Submit Your Review

IMPORTANT: You must click "Submit" to continue the process!!

When you are finished adding comments, click "Submit"

If you don't see the blue "Submit" button, click on the scrollbar located on the far righthand side of the screen, and scroll down until you can see "Submit"

Important - after you click submit, a pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm your choice. Click "Submit review" to complete the process.

(Optional) Decline to Sign

(Optional) If you do not want to sign the review, you can click the box next to "Decline to sign".

If you already signed the review, but decide you want to select "Decline to Sign" instead, click "Redo" next to your signature.
