How to access your Effat Email Account

This guide has two sections: 1. Accessing email by website 2. Accessing email by Outlook App

**1) Accessing email by website**\ Navigate to the University's website.\ Under E-Services, click on "Students Email F25".

**1) Accessing email by website**\ Type in your **Student** email address.

**1) Accessing email by website**\ Type in the **Temporary** password if you're accessing the SSO the first time.

**1) Accessing email by website**\ **Old Password:** Temporary Password\ **New Password:** Type in your new password \ \ **The system accepts only STRICT password:** - Minimum 10 Characters - No First or Last Names - Has Capital (N) and small (n) - Has numeric digits (123) - Has symbols (#@^%) - Not an already used password

**1) Accessing email by website**\ If you typed correctly, you will return back to the login page. \ Type in your new password.

If your password won't update, it may be either: 1. You did not follow the requirements to update the new password 2. If you are given the error message "Error Occurred, contact administrator", please ensure you are following the exact steps in the image. If nothing works, email: NIS@effatuniversity.edu.sa

**1) Accessing email by website**\ Click on "Skip setup" to skip the authenticator.

**1) Accessing email by website**\ Click "Don't show this again" and then "Yes".

**1) Accessing email by website**\ Now you have access to your email.

**2) Accessing email by Outlook App**\ Open your store and look up "Outlook" or click here for [iOS](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-outlook/id951937596) or [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.outlook&hl=en).

**2) Accessing email by Outlook App**\ Select "Add Account"

**2) Accessing email by Outlook App**\ Type in your **Student** email address.

**2) Accessing email by Outlook App**\ Make sure your service is "Microsoft 365" or else it will not work.

**2) Accessing email by Outlook App**\ Type in the **Temporary** password if you're accessing the SSO the first time.
