Add a Payee in Bill Pay

This guide simplifies the process of setting up a new bill payment recipient within online banking.

Navigate to <https://secure.ucbi.com/unitedcommunitybankonline/Uux.aspx#/landingPage> In the left navigation menu, select **Pay & Transfer**.

Next, select **Pay Bills.**

To get started, click the **Add Payee** button to add your first payee.

You can also add a payee by clicking the **Add Payee** button here.

Many major credit card companies, automotive finance companies, and utility companies are preloaded into the bill pay system. Only those billers that are preset in the system have the potential to be set up as an eBill. \ \ Search the list of preloaded payees by typing a company name here.

Select your desired payee if it appears in the list.

Enter the new payee's information and account details.

Please review the payee information for accuracy to ensure the payment is sent to the correct biller. \ \ Next, select the **Create Payee** button.

Payee has been added! \ \ Each payee added will be listed in the **Bill Pay** section and in alphabetical order.

If needed, you can search for a payee by name or account number in the search box.
