Creating a Commercial Card

This guide saves time by walking you through every required field and recommended settings when creating a commercial card in the portal. It highlights mandatory items (like the business address and 9-digit unique ID), useful defaults (Visa benefits and agent number), and optional options (second-line embossing, additional limits, and financial codes). Follow it to ensure accurate data entry and a successful card creation.

Begin by logging in to the Commercial Card Portal. On the homepage, click on **Cards** from the top navigation menu.

Select **Card Maintenance** from the dropdown list.

Next, click the **Create** button in the *Cards* section.

Click the *Product Type* dropdown.

From the dropdown menu, select the card type you would like to create.

Enter the cardholder's first and last name in the corresponding fields.

Next, enter the unique ID number in the *Unique Identifier* field. This will be 9 digits, the first five are zeros last four digits are unique to the cardholder.

Next, enter the business address associated with the card in the *Business Address* field.

**Important:** The business address is required for all cards. We recommend all cards have the same business address.

In the *Card* section use the toggle to select the number of cards needed for this cardholder.

Second line embossing is optional, however, you can add the business name here. This is limited to 24 characters.

The Visa travel benefits for this card will be prefilled with STAN.

The *Agent number* field will be prefilled with that customer’s number.

Under the *Limits* section establish card limits by filling in the information here. \ \ The only limit required is the credit limit, all others are optional.

In the *Addendum* section, search for your business financial codes (optional step).

Once all of the required fields have been filled out, select the **Create** button. Next, an additional page will display where you will be able to confirm all of the data entered. If correct, select **Confirm.**
