Enroll in Text Banking

Learn how to activate text banking services for your United Community accounts to receive updates directly on your mobile device.

In online banking, select **Settings** in the side navigation.

From the **Settings** dropdown menu, select **Text Banking Enrollment.**

Click the toggle to turn on text banking.

**Tip:** once enrolled, you can check balances, review account history, and transfer funds all from your mobile device.

in the *Text Number* field, enter the number of the mobile device you would like Text Banking messages sent to.

After reviewing the terms, check the **Agree To Terms** box if you agree.

Click the **Save** button to enroll.

Enrollment Successful! Click the **Close** button to dismiss the confirmation pop-up.

Next, to configure your accounts, click **Manage Accounts** from the **Settings** dropdown.

From your accounts list, select the **three dots** next to the account you want to enable SMS/Text banking for.

From the dropdown, select **Settings.**

Click the toggle next to **Text Banking** to turn on text banking for this account. Repeat this process for each account you would like to enable text banking for.

**Tip:** Be sure to check the **Text Display Name** for your Account designation. You will need it to submit requests via Text Banking.

To edit the **Text Display Name** for your account designation, click on the pencil next to **SMS/Text Display Name**.

Enter the new **Text Display Name** in the box.

Click the checkmark icon to save the **Text Display Name.**

Text Banking is now turned on for this account. Click **Accounts Summary** to return to the homepage.
