Learn how to securely connect your external bank accounts to your United Community online banking.

Below your accounts, click **View All Accounts**.

On the Manage Accounts page, click **External Accounts**.

Click the **Connect external account** button.

Add an account you have at another financial institution to view it within United online banking and have the option to transfer funds to it. Click **Link via Instant Verification** to begin.

Plaid lets you safely connect your external financial accounts to United Community online banking. Enter your mobile phone number.

Click **Continue.**

You will receive a verification code to your mobile number.

Once you enter the verification code, click **Continue.**

Next, search for your external financial institution. You may use the search bar if needed.

After you find your financial institution, you'll be asked to log in to that financial account. Click **Continue to login,** and you'll be directed to the financial institution's login page. Be sure to have your login credentials ready!

Once you've logged in and authorized your external account, verify the action by entering your Secure Access Code. Select the phone number you would like the code sent to via text or call.

Enter your Secure Access Code.

Click **Verify** to complete the process.
