Learn how to deposit checks remotely for your business using Merchant Services.

Navigate to [**https://www.ucbi.com/remote-deposit** ](https://www.ucbi.com/remote-deposit)and then click the **Account Login** button.

Next, enter your Remote Deposit *user ID* and *password* to access your account (these are case sensitive).\ \ Once you've entered your credentials, click the **Login** button.

To submit your deposit remotely, click the **Create Deposit** button from the left navigation.

In the *Deposit Amount* field, enter your deposit amount.\ \ If you have multiple checks to deposit, enter the *total deposit amount* for all of the checks combined.

In the *Select Account* field, select the desired account from the dropdown. \ \ If a *Store Number* field appears, it is an optional entry to track location-specific data.

Click **Continue** to begin scanning.

Place the check in your scanner facing outwards. \ \ The check can be handwritten or printed.

Once the check is placed, click the **Scan** button.

Your scanned check should display here.

Review the routing number (RT), account number (Account), check number (Check), and amount to ensure they match the check. \ \ If there is an error, update the fields. You can press **Enter** on your keyboard to move between the data entry fields.

After you have confirmed all of the information is correct, select **Save Deposit** to scan additional checks.

If you have additional checks to scan, place them facing outwards in the scanner and then click the **Scan** button to repeat the process.

After scanning your check(s), select the **Submit Deposit** button.

Verify your remote deposit details here.

In the *Add Memo* box, add a memo related to your deposit if desired.

Click the **Submit Deposit** button to continue.

Pending deposits should be listed here. This means that they have not been fully submitted.

To view all deposits, select **All Deposits.**

Select the **Reports** tab to pull a summary report after your deposit has been submitted.

Use the checkboxes to select the deposits you'd like to include in your report.

Click the **Export As** dropdown to view your download file options.

Choose a file type to export your report. \ \ For this demo, the report will be exported as a PDF.
**Tip:** The Deposit Detail Report includes images of the deposited checks for record keeping.

Here is the PDF of your report! \ \ Download or print a copy of the report by selecting the download and/or print icons located in the upper right corner.
