Sending a Secure Message

Navigate to <https://secure.ucbi.com/unitedcommunitybankonline/Uux.aspx#/dashboard> and login to your account.

Starting a new conversation through online banking is just as effortless as sending an email. But unlike an email, you can safely include confidential personal information relating to your account. To begin, select **Messages** in the side menu.

Create a new message by clicking the **pencil icon.**

Next, select a recipient from the dropdown.

Enter a message subject.

Type your message in the box provided.

To attach a file to your message click the **Attach a file** link.

**Tip:** Please note that only the file types listed in the grey box below the *Attachments* field can be added. Ensure that any files being added are in these formats or you will receive an error message and your file will not be added.

When you're finished, click the **Send message** button.
