Setting Alerts in Online Banking

Navigate to [https://secure.ucbi.com/unitedcommunitybankonline/Uux.aspx#/dashboard](https://secure.ucbi.com/unitedcommunitybankonline/Uux.aspx#/dashboard)

In the side menu, select **Settings.**

From the dropdown, select **Manage Alerts.**

On the Alerts page, click **Edit Delivery Preferences.**

On the Delivery Preferences form, add your primary email address to the *Email Address* field to receive alerts in your email inbox.

Add your mobile phone number to the *Phone Number* field to receive voice call security alerts when changes are made to your account.

Under Text Number, select the *Phone Number* field and add your mobile phone number to receive SMS text alerts when changes are made to your account.

Review the **Terms and Conditions** and check the box to agree.

Click **Save** to continue.

A pop-up message will appear that confirms your changes have been saved.\ To dismiss this alert, click **Close.**

Review the default alerts available to you and check the toggle to turn them on or off. *Note: Some alerts cannot be turned off for security purposes.*

Click **New Alert** to add a custom alert.

Choose one of the alert types from the dropdown. \ \ For this demo, we will select **Account Alert** to create a custom alert for an account in online banking.

Click the arrow in the *Account* field.

From the dropdown, select the account you would like this alert to apply to.

Click the arrow in the *Account Balance Type* field.

From the dropdown, select the balance type you would like this alert to apply to.

Click the arrow in the *Frequency* field.

From the dropdown, select how often you would like to receive the alert.

Next, select the start date for this alert by clicking the calendar icon in the *Start Date* field.

Select your preferred start date from the calendar.

Click on the arrow in the *Alert Delivery Method* field.

From the dropdown, choose how you'd like to receive the alert.

In the fields shown, enter the necessary contact information (email address, phone number, etc.) to ensure that you receive your alert.

Review the **Terms and Conditions** and check the box to agree.

To save the alert, click **Create Alert.**

Your new alert has been saved! Select **Close** to finish.
