Entering Your Time
1
From the Time & Attendance dashboard, navigate to Timesheet Entry.
2
To create a new time entry, ensure you have the current pay period selected. Then, click the + icon next to "Actions."
3
Enter the date you are creating an entry for.
4
Enter your Start Times and End Times.
**Note:** This system utilizes military time (24hr clock). To enter breaks (ie lunch breaks) split up your hours worked between two rows. For example, working 8-5 with a lunch break from 12-1 would be entered as: Row 1: 0800-1200 Row 2: 1300-1700
5
Number of hours can also be entered in the Duration column if you do not need to enter your time in/time out. Sick time and holiday time will need to be entered by duration.
6
If you are entering time other than hours worked (ie sick, holiday, on call, etc), click the dropdown menu under "Type." Note: Vacation, comp, and merit (admin) time will not show as a dropdown option until it's approved in Time-Off Request.
7
The copy row button to copy the details from the current row to a new row. The circle icon with a line through it will delete the selected row.
8
Any rows that are highlighted with an asterisk are unsaved entries. Make sure you save your entries before leaving the timesheet entry screen.
9
Navigate to the Time Card Inquiry page to review your daily, weekly, and pay period totals. Each day worked will be separated using different shaded rows.
Submitting Your Timesheet
10
When you are ready to submit your timesheet, navigate to Time Approval.
11
Ensure you have Current Period selected. In the rows below, any entries with a red exclamation icon in the "Employee" column have not been approved/submitted by you.
12
Once you have verified everything is correct and are ready to submit, type your initials in the box to sign, then click Approve and Submit.
13
Once your timesheet is submitted, green check icons will populate in the Employee column. You can hover over the red exclamation icon in the Approvers column to view who your timesheet is pending approval from.
