Click **"More"** and select **"Breakout Rooms".**

Choose how many rooms you want to divide the participants into. - Select the first option to have Zoom automatically assign an equal number of participants to each room. (You can move participants between rooms afterwards.) - Select the third option if you want students to choose their own rooms. This can be useful, for example, when creating rooms with different themes or topics. Create the rooms by clicking **"Create".**

To move a participant to another room, hover your mouse pointer over their name, click **"Move to"**, and select the room you want to assign them to. Once you’re happy with the room assignments, click **"Open All Rooms"** to send participants to their respective rooms.

You can rename your rooms by hovering your mouse pointer over the room name and then clicking **"Rename".**

You can join any of the breakout rooms at any time by clicking the **"Join"** button.

Click **"Close All Rooms"** when you want to close the breakout rooms and bring all course participants back to the main meeting. When you click the button, everyone will have 60 seconds to wrap up their discussions and leave their rooms. After 60 seconds, all rooms will close automatically, and participants will be returned to the main meeting.
