How to Setup Facebook Based Flow

For Facebook Based flow, the trigger would be when contact comment on your post. When the contact replied to the private message, you can continue to send out message or trigger flow

Facebook Based Flow

Navigate to [https://strive.asia/flowbuilder](https://strive.asia/flowbuilder)

Click "Create Flowbuilder"

Click "Start from scratch"

Select the "Facebook" flowbuilder type.

Select the "Facebook Comments - Contact comments on your post" option.

Select the channel/FB page. You can select more than one channel.

Select **Any Post** to trigger for all posts, or **Specific Post** to trigger only for one post.

(If Specific Post) Select which post that you want to set as the trigger

Select **Comment contains any words** to trigger for all comments, or choose **Specific words** to trigger only when the comment includes selected keywords.

Click this checkbox to enable tracking of first level comment only. If it's enabled and the contact reply to the comment, the flow will not be triggered.

Click this checkbox to enable public auto-response. When enabled, the reply message will be posted directly under the contact's comment.

(Optional) Step 12 - 16 can be setup if public auto-response is enabled. Click "Add New Response"

Input the message you want to send as the response.

(Optional) Click "Add New Response" to add more response. Note: All responses will be posted under the contact’s comment.

(Optional) If you want to remove the response, you can click on the red trash can icon.

(Optional) Click this checkbox to like the contact's comment.

Click "Add a new flowbuilder step"

Click "Private Reply (Only Fb Messenger)"

Select the Message Type You can either select "Text Message" or "Media Message"

(Preview) Media Message option

Type in the Message

If you want to use merge field or variable, click on the tag icon then select on the variable name.

(Example) Click "default_name" which in this case will be the contact's name that they set for the Facebook account.

Input the Quick Reply

(Optional) Click "Add Quick Reply" to add more quick reply.

Click "Save Action"

Click here, drag the mouse then let go to create another step.

Click "Add Tagging"

Input the Tag name

Click "Add .."

Click "Save Action"

Click this icon to edit the flowbuilder name.

Make the changes

Click this tick icon.

Click "Save"

Click this toggle to publish the flowbuilder.

Keywords Based Flow

**(Optional) Trigger Another Flow** \ \ You can only trigger another flow once the contact replies to you. This is a Meta platform limitation.

Click "Create Flowbuilder"

Click "Start from scratch"

Click on "Keyword Based"

Insert the Quick reply keywords you set up on Step 25 and select the channel\ \ (You can choose any Quick Reply keyword you would like to use for the follow-up)

Select channel

Click here, drag the mouse then let go to create another step.

Click "Text & Image"

Input the content you want then click on "save action"

Continue to set up your flow
