Repbox

Tip! List Views, and managing them are available in every module. This process can be repeated and completed in every module to see a different view. List views are a convenient way to narrow down the information in a particular module to make specific tasks easier.

Creating a View

First you need to navigate to the module where you are creating the list. Scroll over to the left of the Repbox window for the Main Menu to display. Find and click the needed module.

When the module list view loads, find and click the downwards arrow next to the "All" view found to the top left of the list view results.

Alert! Depending on what list view you have set as the Default, the name could be different then "All" but the button with the down arrow will be present in the same location in every module.

From the options that display, you should see mainly Two (2) sections: Shared List and "My List" (If you haven't created a list view yet, then Shared List will be the only Section. Click the plus (+) icon to create a new view.

A pop up of the "Create a New List" form will appear. Here you will Name your list and change any columns order, remove columns, or add new ones.

Tip! You have the ability to make any list view your Default list view, meaning when you navigate to that module, your default list view will be the one that displays first. Note you can only have one default list view at a time.

Alert! There is a limit to 15 columns that can be added in a single list view.

Alert! To properly save a list view, the view columns selected should include at least one (1) mandatory field. The mandatory fields will be denoted with an asterisk (\*) next to the label.

Once your list view is named, within the "Choose Columns and Order" field, a drop down of all available fields will display, you can either scroll through the options or start typing the needed field for it to filter the list and display what you need.

Tip! You are able to drag the field names to any order you wish, you do not need to remove or add fields in a certain order.

Conditions are how the system filters the information shown.

Click "Select Field" option to be shown the available fields to choose from.

The second drop down in the line can have different values chosen. Read through the options for the field chosen to determine which is needed for your list view. The third blank is where you enter in the value needed to determine what you want shown. If you chose "Order Date" then the third box is where you would place the date or range of dates wanted.

Tip! You can have more than one condition for each block, once you are done with the first one, you can select "Add Condition" again to add another line.

Tip! The Trash can image next to the condition line will remove the line entirely.

To choose how you want your list view sorted, navigate to the bottom of the pop up and click "Select Sorting Column." Here you can choose which field you want to Ascend or Descend in your list view.

Tip! By clicking the checkbox next to "Share the List" will reveal a picklist which allows you to share the list view with other users.

Tip! The main difference between the two options could be explained by this: Ascending based on a date will put the oldest date first, then go on to the most current and beyond date. So if your date ranges start with last year's date, then those would populate first, while the more recent and future dates will appear at the bottom of the list. Descending is the exact opposite. Where any future and current dates will appear at the top of the list, and older dates towards the bottom.

Once you are done with your list view edits click "Save"

Managing Existing Views

Edit will bring up the edit screen of the list view selected. Delete will remove the list view. Duplicate will bring you to the "Create List View" form, will all fields filled out to match the one being duplicated, here you can make changes without changing the original. Click save when changes are done. Default - is a check box field that allows you to set a default list view without entering into the edit screen.
