Unmind

Firstly, ensure you have [connected your work google calendar to Unmind](https://scribehow.com/o/HFWmrRiyRWaE3DJyl3FIzg/viewer/Connect_Your_Google_Calendar_to_Unmind__J0yuVWN9Q4Knurf9BC-t3Q)

Mark time as Busy on Google Calendar when you are unavailable

Next, open the Google Calendar you use for your work diary. Anything in your diary that means you are **unavailable for an Unmind** **session** should be marked as **Busy**.

For example, the **NHS Clinic on 1 September** means you’re unavailable for Unmind at this time. **Click the event** to check whether it’s marked **Free** or **Busy**.

Mark the event as **Busy** if you are **unavailable** for Unmind Clinics. For example, due to another clinic, meetings, appointments, annual leave or personal commitments.

Anything marked **Busy** in your Google Calendar will be blocked in your [Unmind Calendar](https://connect.unmind.com/), allowing you to see your Unmind availability alongside your existing schedule. **Note:** this is a one-way sync.

Create a reminder of your Unmind availability — Optional

On your google calendar, identify the time you want to offer to Unmind. \ **Any blank time in your Google Calendar is already treated as Free.** If helpful, you can add an **'Unmind Slots offered'** event to remind yourself which times you plan

Click **Show as** button. This controls whether Google treats this time as free or busy.

**Keep your Unmind reminder marked as Free**\ If you create an **'Unmind Slots offered'** event, make sure it is marked **Free.** This keeps the time available in Unmind while giving you a reminder in Google Calendar that you intend to offer it.

Click **Save** to update the event.

**Blank time or events marked Free in Google Calendar will remain available in your Unmind Calendar. Anything marked Busy will stay blocked.** You can then use the available time to [**add Instant Book slots**](https://scribehow.com/o/HFWmrRiyRWaE3DJyl3FIzg/viewer/How_to_add_Instant_Book_slots_in_Unmind_Connect__bTUSnENHTg-vQUigvy-eOQ?referrer=workspace). **“Unmind Slots offered'** is just a reminder in Google Calendar – **it does not create the Instant Book slot itself.**
