Event Registration

Click "HOST AN EVENT"

Enter your email address you're using for the event.

Click "I’ve read and agree to the Arizona Tech Week Community Guidelines." In order to submit an event for Tech Week you must accept the terms and conditions.

Click Start New Event or Continue Submission

Tip: Returning to finish an event? Enter the same email address you used to start your submission and click Continue Submission. If you're creating your first event, click Start a New Event.

Event Type

Select the type of event you're looking to create. Toggle the drop-down arrows to read the category description.

Click Save & Continue.

Event Title

What is the title of your event? Create a title that stands out! Your event will be featured on the AZ Tech Week calendar, so choose a name that grabs attention, reflects your event, and encourages attendees to learn more.

Click "SAVE & CONTINUE"

Event Topic

Enter your event description. The event description will be displayed on the Arizona Tech Week calendar. It should include an overall description and key details to advertise your event.

Select up to three event themes that relate to your event, the host organization/industry, or subjects you will cover.

Tip: Your event theme will be used as a filter on the AZ Tech Week calendar, making it easier for attendees to discover events that match their interests.

Click Save & Continue.

Audience

What is your event capacity? How many people can your event hold?

Tip: Below the event capacity field, you’ll find an attrition calculator to help estimate how many attendees to approve based on your desired event turnout.

Select a target audience. Give us an idea of who you want at the event!

Will your event be open to the community? Select one.

Tip: Selecting "Yes, it's open to the community and free to attend" allows attendees to click through the AZ Tech Week calendar to view your Partiful event page. You'll still have full control over who attends by approving or declining registrations in Partiful. This is true for all three registration options. Choosing "Invitation Only" simply hides the Partiful event page from the public calendar.

Click Save & Continue.

Building Your Partiful Event

You're almost done! Now it is time to build your Partiful Event Page. Use the AZTW Partiful template, create your page, and copy/paste the Partiful URL into the box.

Please note: The time blocks are reserved exclusively for official AZTW featured events and are not available for community-hosted programming.

Click on the AZTW Partiful Template to start creating your page.

Tip: Your event page must be created using the AZTW Partiful template, you cannot submit without the completed template. [Create Free Invitations | Partiful](https://partiful.com/create?aztechweek=true)

Open the AZTW Partiful template. *Please note: A cellphone number is needed to create a Partiful account.* [Create Free Invitations | Partiful](https://partiful.com/create?aztechweek=true)

When creating your Partiful event page, you’ll need to add your event title (including #AZTechWeek at the end), event date (within AZ Tech Week: March 1–7, 2027), start and end time, location, description, and an engaging event graphic. The best part? You already have most of this information from your Host application—simply copy and paste the details into your Partiful page! Your graphic should follow a 4:5 ratio, be eye-catching and engaging, and include the AZ Tech Week logo somewhere on the graphic. You can find approved logos and brand assets in our Media Kit. [AZTW27 Public Media + Marketing Kit - Google Drive](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zLc4MiG-nJiuBF37uQKmFRhRExJ_F90f)

AZ Tech Week will automatically appear as a pending co-host on your Partiful event page. Please do not remove AZ Tech Week as a co-host. Once your event submission has been reviewed and approved, the AZTW team will accept the co-host invitation.

New on Partiful: Hosts now have the option to create ticketed events! \ Visit the Partiful Help Center to learn more about setting up ticketing for your event. **Private vs. Public Partiful Event Pages** Private Event Page:\ Only people with the event link can access your Partiful page. This means your event will not be publicly discoverable through the AZTW calendar when it launches, but you can still share the link directly with invited attendees. Public Event Page:\ Anyone can access your Partiful event page, whether they are on or off Partiful. Attendees do not need a direct link to find or view your event.

**Add Your Partiful Event Page URL** Once your Partiful event page is complete, copy the URL from your browser and paste it into your AZ Tech Week website application. This allows AZTW to connect your event submission with your Partiful event page.

Click Validate to generate a checklist that confirms your Partiful event page includes all required information.

If any required information is missing or needs to be updated, an error message will appear. After making and saving the necessary changes in Partiful, click Refresh to update the checklist and confirm the changes.

Click Save & Continue.

Location

Your event date and time will automatically populate from your Partiful event page. Fill out your venue information.

Tip: Full addresses are not publicly displayed on the AZ Tech Week calendar. Only high-level location information (Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff) will appear on the AZ Tech Week calendar and other public listings. The full address will only be visible to approved attendees within Partiful, based on the host’s approval settings.

Click Save & Continue.

Host Info

Share your information and let us know who the main contact for this event will be. The primary point of contact can be you or another person helping manage the event.

Tip: Under Company Name, enter your organization name with your title listed underneath. If you are organizing an event on behalf of a different hosting organization, enter the actual host organization/company under “Name of Host Organization/Company.” If you are hosting the event through your own organization, simply enter your company name again.

Adding Co-Hosts

Add co-hosts for your event. AZ Tech Week will automatically be included as a co-host. You may also add up to five additional co-hosts to help manage your event.

Click Save & Continue.

Take a look at your event snapshot before submitting!

Final Submission

Click Submit for Review.

Hosting Multiple Events

If you’d like to host multiple events, you’ll have the option to submit another event after completing your first submission.

Alert: Have all event details ready before starting additional submissions. Only your first event application can be saved and returned to later. Any additional event submissions must be completed in one session.

Once you’ve completed all event details, click “Submit for Review” to send your event to the AZTW team for review. You’re all set!
