Authority To Operate (ATO) Inspection

This guide shows step-by-step how to create, complete and attach an Authority To Operate (ATO) inspection and its e-form to a worker’s profile so the certification is tracked across projects.

Hammertechonline

Open Inspections.

Open Start New Inspection.

Select Checklists.

Select Authority to Operate as the inspection type.

Select BMD as the employer.

Click Create.

Open the ATO - High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) checklist.

Select Non-Slewing Mobile Crane.

Click this button.

Click "deleteDelete"

Click "Delete"

Click "add_circle"

Select the ATO - RTO/Nationally Recognised (RTO) checklist.

Click Add Checklist.

Click "Yes"

Inspection Completion

Click the Operator Declaration Sign button.

Click here.

Click Submit Signature.

Select 2031 as the expiry year.

Click Complete Inspection.

Open the completed Authority to Operate inspection.

Open the Download menu.

Select All Details from the download menu.

Tip! Download the already completed (and in date) ATO e-Form and attach to the worker's profile.

Form can be printed/ saved from e-forms if still in date to link to worker profile.

Link to Worker Profile

Go to Personnel in the side bar menu.

Open All Personnel.

Select the relevant inducted worker to add the ATO against. Linking to workers profile, will carry across projects.

Open Options. Select Edit.

Under **Additional Licences** hit the drop down button and select the relevant Assessment ATO. Note ensure you are selecting ATO code and not licence.

Select Add Licence

*If entered in error, to delete select the red trash can image.*

Click the Expiry Date field (in accordance with BMD ATO validity requirements).

Upload the ATO checklist downloaded as per above steps.

Click Save Changes.

The ATO can then be seen linked to the worker profile.
