Agents: Adding a Landlord/Tenant SBI

This guide provides a step-by-step process for agents to efficiently add a Landlord or Tenant SBI to a policy. It simplifies the navigation through AgriNet, making it easier to manage policyholder information and shareholder details. Updated on 6/2/2026

Agrisompo

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy> and sign in using the Duo push process.

Start by selecting the correct crop year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field, and key the insured's name or policy number to search by.

NOTE: A Landlord/Tenant SBI has to be added by SCD. The Landlord/Tenant SBI Line information needs to be added to the Line of Insurance at Acreage Reporting time.

Adding a Landlord/Tenant SBI

Click the policyholder's name.

Click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down the drop down list and click "Add SBI"

Key all required information in the "red" marked boxes. Users can be assigned to specific policies under the primary insured. Check the boxes next to the policy numbers to include. Once all information on this screen has been keyed, click the "Contact Information" tab from the left column.

SBI information can be saved without completing the Contact Information tab as long as the required fields—First Name, Last Name, Tax ID, and Tax Number—are entered.

Key all required information in the "red" marked boxes. Once all information on this screen has been keyed, then click "Save".

Click the "Close" button from the upper right hand corner.

Click the "SBIs" drop down arrow from the policy column.

From the SBI List, click the SBI name to expand it, to see all SBI information.

Adding Landlord/Tenant SBI to a Line of Insurance

Click the policy to add the shareholder to from the left policy column.

Click the "Edit" button from the commodities box.

Click the "Edit" button from the line of insurance to attach the Landlord/Shareholder to.

From the "Acreage" tab screen, scroll down and click the blue "Add Shareholder" button.

Select the appropriate SBI to attach to the Line of Insurance.

Click the "Share" field and key the correct share.

Once the correct SBI has been selected from the drop down list, and the correct share has been keyed, then click the "Save" button.

To Insure 100% of the Line, change the Share on the "Acreage Tab" to a 1.000 after linking the landlord name and share amount to the "Acreage Tab".

The Landlord/Tenant SBI has now been added to the Line of Insurance and will reflect on the Schedule of Insurance when generated. Click the "Close" button from the upper right hand corner.

In viewing the SOI, the "LLT" is now visible on the Line it was attached to and shows under the "Share" portion of the SOI.

To remove a shareholder, simply click the "Garbage can" icon from the right side of the shareholder to remove it from this line. NOTE: This will leave the SBI attached to the policy, but not listed on the Line of Insurance.

Alert! Once a policy has been accepted by the underwriter and is no longer in “estimate” status, you will no longer be able to make changes in the system. This includes adding landlords, tenants, SBIs, or a POA. Any updates after acceptance must be submitted to the underwriter or completed using a Policy Change Request (PCR).
