Agents: Creating a New Policy/Estimate (Perennial)

Agrisompo

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy> and sign in using the Duo push process.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and search by Insured's Name.

Creating an Estimate/Policy

From the "Contact Information" screen, click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down the drop down list and click "Add Policy".

If there is only one agent connected to the Agency for the policy, it will default to the agent on file. If multiple Agents are connected to the same Agency, select the correct agent profile from the "Agent" drop down list.

Select the correct state for the policy from the "State" drop down list. **NOTE:** The "Policy Type" will default to Multi-Peril Crop Insurance".

Enter an "Authorized Representative/Power of Attorney" if desired, and the click "Save".

**NOTE:** A new estimate number is created under the Policy List. The green Folder icon indicates that it is still an Estimate until it has been converted to a policy by the Underwriter.

Adding a Plan of Coverage

Click the "Actions" button.

From the drop down list, click "Add Coverage".

Select the "County" from the drop down list.

Select the "Commodity" from the drop down list.

The "Insurance Type will be defaulted to "Standard MPCI".

Once all fields have been populated, click the "Create" button.

A new screen will populate. From the "Coverage Information" tab, select the drop down list from the "Plan" box and select the "APH" option.

Select the "Level" from the drop down list and select the desired option.

Click "Select"

- If an Assignment of Indemnity is needed, key it at this time. - If "New Producer" status applies, click the radio button to "check" it. - If the policy is a transfer from a former AIP, select the "Previous Company" box and choose from the drop list, as well as populate the "Previous Policy Number" field. - If a paper application has been filled out, key the Sign Dates and Agent information. - If not, those can be keyed at a later time. Once all desired information has been keyed, click the "Save" button.

Click the "Close" button.

The screen will change back to the "Commodities" screen. Click the "Edit" button to enter into the "Crop Summary" screen.

Adding a Supplement Coverage

From the "Crop Summary" screen, click the "Actions" button.

Click the "Add Coverage" option, from the drop down list.

The "County" box will default to the county on the base coverage. Select the "Commodity" drop down list to elect the commodity to attach to.

Change the "Insurance Type" to "Supplemental Coverage".

The "Attach to Insurance" box will default to the base coverage. (If more than one commodity is elected on the policy, select the correct one from the drop down list.) Once all information is keyed correctly, click the "Create" button.

Select the desired plan from the "Plan" drop down list.

Make any desired edits to the "Protection Factor" box, and the "Options" drop down list.

If a paper application has been filled out, key the Sign Dates and Agent information. If not, those can be keyed at a later time. Once all desired information has been keyed, click the "Save" button.

Click the "Close" button.

Printing a Pre-Populated Application

From the "Crop Summary" screen, click on the "Printer" Icon to print forms.

From the "Applications & Policy Changes" tab, click on "MPCI Application".

Make any desired changes from the "Report Options" screen. If none are needed, simply click the "Run Report" button.

Once the report has generated, the button will turn green and say "Download". Click on it to download a pdf version of the application ready for signatures.
