Agents: Keying High Risk Acres into a Policy

Agrisompo

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy> and sign in using the Duo push process.

Select the correct crop year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and key the insured's name or policy number and search.

Click the policy to work on from the left policy column.

Click the "Edit" button from the commodities box.

Printing a High Risk Land Exclusion Option form.

The High-Risk Land Exclusion Option form must be **completed and submitted** by SCD by insureds who wish to **NOT** insure their high-risk land or wish to insure their high-risk land at a lower level of coverage than their MPCI base policy.

Click the printer icon from the blue bar in the upper right hand corner.

Click the "High Risk Land Exclusion Option" from the "Applications & Policy Changes" tab.

Click the "Run Report" button.

Click the green "Download .pdf" once it generates.

Click the "Close" button from the upper right hand corner.

Adding the "HB" option to existing coverage

Click the "Edit" button on the current coverage.

Click the "Options" drop-down list.

Scroll down the drop-down list and click "High-Risk Land Exclusion (HB)" to check the radio button.

Click the "Save" button.

Click the "Close" button.

Adding the New "HB" Coverage.

Click the "Actions" button.

Click the "Add Coverage" option from the drop-down list.

The county will default to the county the other coverage is elected in. Select the "Commodity" option and choose the corresponding commodity.

Leave the Insurance Type as the defaulted "Standard MPCI" and then click "Create".

Key the "Plan", "Level", and "Options" as the required information. Key any additional desired information and click "Save".

Click the close button from the upper right hand corner.

Adding a "High Risk" Line of Insurance

Click the "Actions" button.

Click the "Add Line" option from the drop-down list.

Key the required information on the Acreage tab, and then click "Save".

Click the "APH" tab from the left column.

Answer the questions as desired on the "APH" tab, and click "Save".

On the main APH screen, Use the T yields provided, or key any APH history in the chart below to build the database. Once all elections are keyed as desired, click "APH Complete", and then click "Save".

Click the "Description" tab from the left column.

1. From the "Type" drop-down, select "Section, Township, Range". 2. Click the "Add Legal" button. 3. Key the Section, Township, and Range in the boxes provided. Lastly, click "Save"

Next, click the "Fields" tab from the left column.

Click the "Farm" field and key the F/T/F information. The acres will auto-populate , and then click "Save" to link the field to this acreage line.

Complete Step 29 as many times as need to link additional CLU's to the Line of Insurance.

Click the "Close" button from the upper right hand corner.

Note that the High Risk Category is now displayed on the "Lines" screen.

Printing a MPCI Application

Click the "Printer" icon from the upper right corner.

From the Applications & Policy Changes tab, click the "MPCI Application" option from the list on the right.

Select any desired Report options, and then click "Run Report".

Once the application generates, click the green "Download .pdf" button.

Once the application is verified with the insured and signed by both the insured and the agent, Scan into Document Management to place the application in imaging.

Document Management

To get to Document Management, click the "App Grid" icon from the top right hand of the screen.

From the drop-down, click "Document Management" to upload the application.

Entering Form Dates

To enter Application, Production, and or Acreage form dates, click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down the drop-down list and click "Enter Form Dates".

Click the "Production" tab

Click the "Insured Sign" field and key the date.

Once the date has been keyed, click "Save".

After saving, click the "Processing Finalized" button.

Lastly, click the "Close" button. NOTE: The green checks under the "Processing Finalized" column. This has flagged the Underwriter to notify them that production has been entered into the policy.

Adding Acres

Click the "Edit" button from the Line to add acres to.

Click the "Fields" tab from the left column.

Click the linked CLU information to move it up to the editable boxes.

Click the "Acres" field, and key the planted acres.

After keying the planted acres and planted date, click "Save".

Click the "Update Acreage Line" button to "Complete" the line.

Click the "Next" button to complete the steps for each line of insurance to plant acres to.

Once all lines have been updated with planted field information, click the "Close" button.

NOTE: The "High Risk Layer Rating" is now showing on Line 5, and the yellow checkmarks indicate that keying is completed at the Agent level.

Rating the Policy

Click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down the drop-down list and click the "Rate Policy" option.

After AgriNet rates the policy, notice that Premiums and Liabilities are now generating a dollar amount.

Printing a Schedule of Insurance

Click the printer icon from the upper right hand corner.

Click the "Acreage Reporting" tab from the left column.

Scroll down the right column and click the "MPCI Schedule of Insurance/Production Report" from the list.

Make the desired "Printing Options" and then click the "Run Report" button.

Once the report has generated, click the green "Download .pdf" button.
