Agents: Keying Pecan Trees (TDO)

Learn how to navigate the AgriNet to successfully add policy coverage for Pecan Trees, including supplemental coverages. This guide covers the entire workflow from initial insured search to generating final acreage reports.

Agrisompo

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy> and sign in using the Duo push process.

Select the correct crop year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and search by insured's name.

Adding a New Policy

From the Insured's screen, click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down and select "Add Policy".

The "Agent", "Policy Type" and "State" are required at this time. An "Authorized Rep./POA" can be added at a later time if desired. Once all information is keyed, click the "Save" button.

Adding Coverage

From the commodities screen, click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down the drop down list and click "Add Coverage".

From the drop down list, select the "County" and "Commodity". The "Insurance Type" defaults to "Standard MPCI". Once verified that keyed information is correct, click the "Create" button.

After AgriNet creates the coverage, the "Coverage Information" screen will pop-out. Select the "Plan" drop down list and select "Tree Based Dollar Amount of Insurance".

Select the "Level" drop down option and select the percent of coverage. **NOTE:** The "Price Percent" will default to 1. Leave as defaulted or set to range indicated above the box.

**NOTE:** Key any additional desired information at this time, such as "Options", "Type" and etc... However they are not required for the policy. Once all keyed information has been verified correct, click the "Save" button.

Click the "Close" button.

Adding a Supplemental Coverage

Click the "Actions" button from the Commodities screen.

Scroll down and select "Add Coverage".

Select the "Pecan Trees" option from the dropdown list for "Commodity".

Select "Supplemental Coverage" from the Insurance Type section.

Click the "Create" button.

Select the "Plan" dropdown list, and select the desired Supplemental Coverage Plan.

**NOTE:** The "Protection Factor" defaults to 1. Set within the desired valid range if needed) Click the "Options" dropdown list to add any desired options.

Verify all keyed information is correct and click the "Save" button.

Adding a Line of Insurance

Click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down and select the "Add Line" option.

Select the "Unit" option and key the desired Unit information.

Select the "Practice" dropdown and select the practice type.

Select the "Type" dropdown and select the correct type.

Key the "Farm#", "Block", and "Farm Name" if desired. The "Share" will default to 1.00. Re-Key if desired. Click the "Acres" field and key the Acres.

Click the "Plant Date" field and key the trees plant date.

Scrolling down the page, click the "Tree Count" field, and key the total tree count.

Click the "Plant Spacing" field and key. If Plant Spacing varies, click the "Varies" box.

Click the dropdown list from the "Planting Pattern" and select which applies.

If a "Variety" is known, key in at this time; however, it is not required.

Key any additional information, and verify all that is keyed is correct. Once verified, click the "Save" button.

Scroll up and click the "Close" button.

The Crop Summary and Lines screens should look similar to the screenshot below. **NOTE:** The Estimate/Policy will not rate until the Underwriter keys the Rate Class information.

Printing Forms

Click the "Printer" icon from the blue bar in the upper right hand corner.

From the Applications & Policy Changes tab, click the "MPCI Application" option.

Make any desired options, and then click the "Run Report" button.

After AgriNet generates the .pdf, click the green "Download PDF" report.

A pre-populated application will download to your browser window. Print or Save for desired purposes.

Click the "Citrus & Pecan" tab from the left column.

Click the "Citrus/Pecan Tree Acreage Report" option.

Make any desired option selection and click "Run Report".

After AgriNet generates the .pdf, click the "Download PDF" report.

The Acreage Report is now downloaded to the computer, print to populate with Insured signature.
