Underwriters: Adding a Contract to a Written Agreement Commodity

If the user is unable to select a practice and/or type in the contract screen, there is a ticket to address this in a subsequent sprint where the contract will automatically import in from the rate state and county selected (CT2-35315)

In AgriNet, click on the policy to add the contract to from the policy list.

**NOTE:** Hover with the mouse cursor over the "Flag" to see the warning notifying that the contract is missing.

To add the contract, click the "Edit" button in the "Crop Summary" box.

Viewing the Written Agreement Status

Click the "Written Agreements" tab, from the left column.

**NOTE:** At this time the Written Agreement should be in the "Approved" status. All sign dates completely keyed, along with "Land ID's" and also the "R27/R27Z" tab should be populated. Once the Written Agreement has been fully keyed, a new contract is ready to be keyed.

Click the "Actions" button from the upper right hand corner.

Adding the Contract

From the dropdown list, click the "New Contract" option.

From the "Contracts" tab, click the "Description" field and key the name of the processor or organization that distributed the contract.

Select the "Type" option. There should only be the types available that are on the plan. In the example below, only "White" Sesame was keyed on the policy, so "White" is the only "Type" available.

Next, click on the "Practice" drop down and select the corresponding Practice on the contract.

**NOTE:** Depending on the type of contract the producer received, one of the two types of will need to be keyed. Either a "Production" based contract or an "Acreage" based contract. If you need assistance determining which type you have, please reach to your Manager or Supervisor.

Click the "Contract Price" field and enter the per **pound** amount. **NOTE:** A lot of contracts are priced at the **hundred weight.** AgriNet is looking for the **per pound** amount. Make sure to do the conversion before keying.

From the "Contract Price Type", select the correct type from the drop down. Please ask for assistance from you Manager or Supervisor if you are unsure.

Click the "Company Received" field and key the company received date.

Click the correct type of contract provided by the Agent. NOTE: The contract will not be labeled as a "CPA Contract" or an "Acreage Level Contract". If you are unsure of which type, PLEASE reach out to your Manager or Supervisor for assistance.

Once all information has been keyed correctly, click "Save".

To Edit an Existing Contract

Click the "Contracts" tab from the Policy Plan screen.

Make any desired changes and then "Save". If non are needed, click "Close".
