This document provides a comprehensive guide to the Horse Hub and its key functions, including: - Horse Registration - Competition Licences - Bridle Numbers - Ownership Changes - Lease Management - Horse Profile Updates

**How to Register a Horse:**\ To register a horse, click on Menu then select Horse Hub

Click on New Horse and fill out the form to add your horse to the system

All horse names must be unique. If you are registering a horse for the first time, you will be required to choose a name that has already not been taken by another horse.

**Please note**: If you have purchased a horse that has already been registered with EA, please ask the previous owners to change the ownership of the horse to you.

**How to view horse details:** - From Menu, select Horse Hub. - This will open up your Horse List where you can select your horses to view. - Click on the horse you want to view and it will open up a page containing all the details of your horse

**How to upgrade your registration:** - If your horse is base registered and you wish to upgrade to full, please head to the Licences tab and then click on Registration. - Select the **'Upgrade'** button

**How to purchase a Competition Licence:**\ After you have registered your horse and it is approved by your state, you can purchase a competition licence.\ You can add a licence from your horse’s profile under Licences, then select competition licence and select **New Licence.**

**How to renew a Competiton Licence:**\ You can renew expired licence from the licences drop down. Select the expired licence you want to renew and click renew button.

**How to change ownership:** - ***Changes to ownership must be done by the current owner.*** - To add, remove or transfer owners, your starting point is the change ownership button under **Owner Details** in the Horse menu

- After you have clicked on the change ownership button, click on add to add a new owner. - Please note, if your horse is currently co-owned by others, each owner will need to approve this change. - Please refer to the change of owner approval slide for how approval or rejection can be actioned. - Once a change has been approved, a state fee will need to be paid by the new owner. - Please refer to the How to pay ownership change fee page.

**How to remove an owner:** - If you are transferring the horse out of your name, you will need to delete yourself from the horse. - If your horse is co-owned by other owners and you wish to remove one or multiple owner, please click on the remove button to remove the owners. - Please note, removing all owners refers to transferring a horse to an owner outside of the EA community. - If you have accidently removed yourself from your horse, please contact your state branch. - Please note, if your horse is currently co-owned by others, each owner will need to approve this change. - Please refer to the change of owner approval slide for how approval or rejection can be actioned.

**How to transfer a horse to an owner outside of the EA community:**\ Once you have clicked on the Ownership Change button, you can click on remove all owners to signify the horse is being transferred to individual(s) outside of the EA community.\ \ *Please note, if your horse is currently co-owned by others, each owner will need to approve this change. Please refer to the change of owner approval slide for how approval or rejection can be actioned.*

**How to approve an ownership change:** If you co-own a horse and an ownership change has been made, each owner is required to approve or reject the change. To approve or reject, go to ownership and open ownership history and click on Pending Payment.

**Click on status** and view the change request. \ You can approve or reject request from here.

**How to pay for an ownership change:** If a change has been made to the ownership of the horse i.e. adding an owner or removing an owner; a state fee will need to be paid. \ To pay the fee click on **Pay.** *Please note: after you have paid the fee, the state association will need to approve the change. You will be notified via email once the change has been approved.*

**Purchasing an EA registered horse:** If you have purchased a horse which is already registered with EA, please contact the owner to trigger an ownership change.

**How to change a Foal Date/Microchip Number:** To change Foal Date/Microchip number, head to the certifications tab and click on **Horse Microchip or Foal Date change request** option. From there you can submit your request for processing.

**How to request a bridle number:** From Certifications, submit a bridle number request. Your state branch will need to approve this. When approved, you can find this under\ **Additional Info> Dressage > Bridle Number**

**How to add a lease:** Owners can lease out their horses by heading the **Lease Info** tab and adding a new lease. \ \ *Please note: the lessee will need to pay a fee for the state to recognise the lease notification.*

- You can add a lessee from the Lease Form. - Multiple lessees can be added. - Lessees need to be approved by owners for the lease to proceed. - After owner approval, the lessee will be able to make a payment.

After lessee makes payment, the state association will need to approve the lease for it to be active. When the lease is active, a lessee can purchase/renew horse license from the states the owners are linked to.

**How to download a Registration Certificate:** Go to **registration** and click the ***download icon*** to download your horse’s registration certificate
