How To: Request a Microchip or Foal Date Change to your horse

This guide explains how to request a change to your horse's microchip or foal date within the system. Alternatively, you can contact your state branch directly if you would prefer to complete this process over the phone. Please note that additional information may be required to verify your identity or request.

Hub Navigation

**Open Horse Hub**\ On your account, select **Menu**, then select **Horse Hub** to view your horses.

Horse Selection

**Select Horse**\ Select the registered horse name from the list. This is the horse you wish to request changes for.

Select the **Certifications** tab in the side menu.

Change Request Submission

Select 'Add' for **Horse Microchip or Foal Date Change Request**.\ This will open a form for you to complete. Select the **Microchip** field and enter the required details. If your horse has more than one microchip, please enter all microchip numbers. If you also need to update the foal date, repeat the same process and select the Foal Date check box. \ \ If you need to do both, please submit **separate forms for this request.**

To support your request, upload the required horse registration certificate or verification document.

Click **Save** to submit your request.

**Status**\ This request will be reviewed by your state branch. They may contact you if any additional information or follow up is required. Once the request has been completed and actioned, the status will update to **Approved**.\ \ If your horse's status was set to **Inactive**, with the microchip updated the status will then be changed to **Active**.
