How to: Mark your Horse as Inactive

Members can mark their horse as Inactive in the system by selecting the Deactivate button. This option is intended for horses that are deceased, retired, or no longer competing. If you need to reactivate an inactive horse, please contact your State Branch. Please note: horses marked as Inactive do not have name protection. This means you will lose the naming rights to the horse while it remains inactive.

**Menu:**\ On your account, select **Menu** in the **top left-hand corner**.

Select the **Horse Hub** tile.

**Horse List**\ On the horse you wish to deactivate, select the **three dots** on the **far right-hand side** of the screen.

Select **Deactivate**.

Select **OK** to confirm the deactivation. **Please note:** Horses marked as **Inactive** do not have name protection. This means you will lose the naming rights to the horse while it remains inactive. If you need to reactivate an inactive horse, please contact your **State Branch**.
