How to Create a Travel Registry (for Individual Trip)

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for Boston College individuals to register their BC-affiliated travels. Navigate to [https://travelregistry.bc.edu/login](https://travelregistry.bc.edu/login)

Click "BC SSO LOGIN"

Click "Sign in"

[[Setup a profile and confirm that information is correct, use your long length BC email, e.g liny.smith@bc.edu]]

Click "ADD NEW TRIP"

enter your trip information

choose your "Reason for travel" (Scroll down and select)

Enter your location and date

Click "ADD DESTINATION" if you have more than one destinations

You can delete the destination here

Click "CONTINUE"

Enter your itinerary information. Or you can also skip this section and come back later after saving and submitting the registration.

Click "Next" to move on

For the "Forms" section, answer the question according to your own situation

Check whether you meet any of the export conrol criteria. If your itinerary meets Export Control Criteria, upon saving you might see a notification of additional required questions.

Click "Next" to move on

For the "Essential Content" section, Click "Click to view" to read the documents. Make sure to read each of them.

Download and activate the AlertTraveler APP on your phone. This APP will allow us to better assist you in case of an emergency.

The button for the sections you have read will turn to green "Viewed". Keep reading!

Click "Save and Finish"

If your itinerary meets Export Control Criteria, upon saving you might see a notification of additional required questions. Click "CONTINUE". If no new requirements, click "Submit" and you have finished. You may be contacted for additional steps if your itinerary includes potentially high-risk locations.

Click on "Forms" (with the exclamation mark)

Answer each of the new questions

Click "next" after finishing all the questions in this part

For the Essential Contents(with exclamation) section, read the document then Click "Click to sign" to sign

Click "ACCEPT"

Click "YES"

Click "Save and Submit for Approval"

Click "SUBMIT", then wait for the approval :)

If you know the flight and accommodations information, you can come back and click the trip you created to enter the information

Click "Save and Finish"

If you want to check your approval status, return to this page and click the trip you created

Click "Approval History" to check your approval status :)
