Adding Beacons
1
Click "Beacons"
2
Select "Lock" and enter the Beacon IDs of the Beacons you'd like to add. If you are adding multiple beacons, you can enter them as shown. Once finished, select the green "+" to add the Beacons.
3
Once added, your Beacon list will look like this.
4
To add Mini Beacons, navigate to the "Mini" tab in Beacons widget, and enter the beacon IDs. Note that Mini Beacons use the same LED patterns as the classic Beacons, so it is very important to not overlap the IDs.
If the Beacon is visible in Motive, the grey box under "Visible" will turn blue.
Under the "LED" column, there are two numbers: the number on the left is the ID number for the corresponding Stringer. The number on the right (in brackets) is that Stringer's Motive ID.
Assigning Beacons to Trackables
5
From the Beacons page, select "Detailed Beacon Patch"
Tip! You can also navigate to Beacon Patch through here:
6
In Beacon Patch, you can assign Beacons to Trackables by dragging a Beacon from the left side and dropping it under a Trackable on the right side.
In the Beacon Patch page, Classic Beacons and Mini Beacons have different highlight colors, and also different ID formats (M## instead of ## only).
7
In order to change the name of a Trackable, navigate to "Libraries".
8
Double-click the Trackable under "Name" and enter a new name.
"WYG Trackable" refers to the Trackable's name in BT-WYSIWYG. This can ONLY be changed in BT-WYSIWYG.
