Output Configuration

Navigate to "Settings" -> "Output Configuration"

To add a new output, select the green "+"

RTTrPL is already set up as a default output. Only RTTrPM outputs can be added. Please note for BT-1 users, RTTrPL and RTTrPM outputs must share the same port. RTTrPL makes use of specific IP addresses to transfer infromation. If swapping back and forth between output types, it is important to restore these IP addresses when using Lighting. 10.133.1.9 /24 10.133.2.9 /24 10.0.1.9 /8 2.0.1.9 / 8

Fill out the corresponding fields to add outputs for RTTrPM. The NIC field will automatically adjust based on the selected output type.

The "Address" field is for the IP Address that will receive the output data. If "Communication" -> "Multicast" is selected, this field will autofill with a Multicast IP Address. Ensure the receiving device has an IP Address compatible with the designated IP. The NIC IP Address can be changed to match the network of the receiving device by navigating to "Network Adapters" on the server.

Once all information is entered, select "Apply".

After adding the output, RTTrPM will start outputting when tracking begins.

If the Status shows "Disconnected", Blacktrax cannot connect to the specified output IP Address. If the Status indicates "Not Receiving Motion", Blacktrax is connected but waiting to receive motion data.

On the left side, outputs can be enabled or disabled. It is also possible to enable/disable all Lighting or Motion outputs.

Note: A BT-1 server only allows one output to be enabled at a time.

Selecting Data to Output

Some software integrations require the data to be sent in a specific format. Navigate to "Edit Output" -> "Advanced Settings" to adjust the coordinate system, orientation system, and other settings that relate to the data format. As before, consult the Blacktrax Wiki for guidance on these settings.

It is possible to select specific Trackables or Beacons to output. Click and drag to choose the desired Trackables, then select "Enable Selected".

Under "Output Options", adjustments can be made to the "Smoothing" of the tracking data.

Some software integrations do not receive Trackable data. If only Beacon data is needed, deselect "Send Trackables".

Mini Beacons and Rigid/Soft Frames data can also be sent if required. When sending Beacon data, the "Smoothing" option cannot be adjusted.

Some software integrations only use specific modules of the RTTrPM protocol. The Wiki provides a list of which modules to send depending on the software integration. These can be set in the Output Modules tab.
