How to Create and Send a Test Email

Here's a fake email template we're going to use to try out properties!

In the text box, select where you want to insert the property. Then click the Personalization icon to select a property to insert.

In this field, we want to add the recipient's first name, so we will select the "First Name" property.

You'll now see some text added — don't remove this! This is what will populate with a recipient's specific data.

Do this for any remaining properties you want to add.

Once you've added all the properties to your email, you can now test to see if they work properly! Click the "Preview and Test" button.

You should now see the template populate with a profile's details! You can select a different profile to test or even send an email.
