Creating a Reservation (Patron Portal Desktop View) (June 2026)

Learn how to navigate the Patron Portal on desktop to create a reservation. This guide walks you through selecting a location, choosing your time slot, and finalizing your equipment reservation.

Navigate to <https://luc.webcheckout.net/sso/patron#!/>

Click the **New Reservation** button in the top right corner.

Select your desired **Checkout Center** and then click **OK**.

Read the Message of the Day and click **Dismiss**.

Click the **Pickup Date** field and select which day to pick up the reservation from the calendar dropdown.

Click the **Pickup Time** field and select which time to pick up the reservation from the dropdown.

Click the **Return Date** field and select which day to drop off the reservation from the dropdown.

Click the **Return Time** field and select which time to drop off the reservation dropdown.

Click the white box in the bottom left to **agree to the terms and conditions of the** Equipment Loan Program.

Click **Save Changes** once complete.

Select **Browse Catalog** to add resources.

Browse through the Catalog, choose the desired equipment category, and choose the desired Resource Type.

Once the equipment is found, select **Add Item**.

Click **Return to Reservation** to go back.

If finished, Click **Submit Reservation**. A confirmation email will be sent.
