Source Code Setup

Click Codes / Templates.

Click 2. Source codes.

If there are weddings in the list of Source Codes that you are 100% sure are at least 3 months in the past, you may simply edit the name of the wedding by clicking the "E" beside the Name of the source code. Otherwise, click Create to make a new one.

Click this text field and enter the wedding. E.g. Type "Smith/Johnson Wedding"

Click Submit.

It should now show in the list of source codes.

Reservation Details

Under the administration section of any booking associates with a wedding, select Weddings as the market code.

Select the appropriate wedding group.

Here is where you will see these details on the booking in the "View Reservation Screen"

Here is where you will see any applied discounts in the "Cost" section beside the "Room cost" line item.

Custom Reporting

When the balance of the stay becomes due for any booking with Wedding Source and Market codes, we must run a quick report to ensure everyone gets their appropriate discounts BEFORE we charge any balances.

Click "Reports"

Click "3. Custom report"

Select the Checkins/outs report type.

Select a date range for wide enough to capture all bookings for the wedding, usually about 2 weeks on either side of the wedding date. This wedding is on June 12th so we selected June 1-30 for the date range.

Select the "Weddings" option under Market Code.

Select the appropriate wedding in "Source Code".

Select "By reservation" as the collation category.

Select Order by arrival date.

Select HTML as the export format.

Click "Submit"

This will be your wedding booking list. Click on the confirmation number of each booking and confirm or make corrections to the discount applied as per policy below, and then charge final balances as they come due, as per Cona Standard Practice. # OF UNITS BOOKED - DISCOUNT POLICY: 1 unit - no discount\ 2 units - 5% discount to the first booking; 2nd booking gets no discount\ 4 units - all bookings receive a 10% discount.
