In this example, the alarm is to prompt us to charge the guest for the next installment payment. In instances where we plan an installment payment for a date without automatic notification, whether that be because the guest requested it, or because we are running a 3-payment schedule such as summer time to minimize credit card fees, the booking would be created with an alarm for that payment.

Once you action the alarm, turn it off. It is important to clear active alarms because letting the build up can bog down the reservation system. You can do that directly in the reservation. Scroll down to "Notes"

Open the note's options menu.

Click "Edit"

Set Alarm status to Off.

Click Apply.

Another place you can clear the alarm is from the alarm calendar. Click "E" beside the completed alarm.

If you are already working through "New" bookings", the system provides yet another place to get to the alarms without added steps.

Click "Active Alarms"

Lastly, "11. All active alarms" is another avenue to access alarms to clear them.
