Hedging is disabled by default for futures assets. Enable it to hold both long (buy) and short (sell) positions on the same asset simultaneously during your backtesting session.

Create a new backtesting session

Open More options.

Locate the Hedging settings.

Enable the Hedging toggle.

You can now hold separate long and short positions simultaneously.
