LMS Only Coach: How to Log In to REMS for the First Time

This guide provides instructions for coaches who previously accessed their account exclusively through the Learning Management System (LMS) that are now required to access the LMS via the Registration and Events Management System (REMS). Your LMS account has been successfully imported into REMS, allowing you to continue using your existing account credentials. Coaches registered in the RTR between September 2017 and August 2024 can log into their REMS account to access the LMS. Coaches do not need to be registered by their club to log into REMS, (unless they have a status of "Suspended." Once the suspension is lifted, they will regain access to log in).

***Tip!*** *Your LMS account has been successfully imported into REMS, allowing you to continue using your existing account credentials. You must login to REMS with the **same email address** you used to previously login to the LMS.*

REMS Account Activation

Click [here ](https://swimming.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/users/login)to login only if you have **never** previously logged into REMS.

Enter your LMS related email address and password to log in to REMS and **Click "Login".**

**Note:** You will be prompted to **activate your account** if this is your first time logging into REMS. An email will be sent to the address associated with your registration. If you do not remember your password, click the "Forgot Password" link to reset it.

Click **"Resend Activation Email"**

You will receive the following message.

Click the **"Reactivate Account"** link in your email

Enter and confirm your password, your First and Last Name, and your language preference. Click the **check box** to Accept Terms and Conditions and Click **"Activate"**

You will receive an **email notification** that your account has been activated successfully. You can now login to REMS using your email address and password.

Forgot Passoword

Enter the email address associated with your LMS Account and click **"Forgot Password".**

Enter the email address **associated with you LMS account** and Click **"Submit".**

If the email address you entered matches one in REMS, a password reset link will be sent to that email address.

If the email address you entered does not match any in REMS, please double-check the email address you provided or contact **education@swimming.ca** for assistance.

Go to your email and **click the link** to reset your password.

Enter your new password and Click **"Submit".**

You can now **login to REMS** with your email address and new password.

Accessing the LMS within REMS

Select **"LMS Coaches"** from the dropdown, click the checkbox for **"Make this the default association"** and click **"Continue"**

Click the **"Login to LMS"** button.

Click **"Login to LMS"**

Once logged in, you may begin to **navigate the LMS**.
