Guide for EXISTING REGISTRANTS on how to register as an LMS Coach in REMS

This guide outlines steps for REMS EXISTING REGISTRANTS to register as an LMS Coach and access their Learning Management system (LMS) Coach account from the Registration and Events Management System (REMS). Existing Registrants are those who have previously registered as a swimmer, coach, or official in REMS. An LMS Coach registration means that a coach will be able to access the LMS, and that the coach is NOT actively registered with any club in REMS. 24/08/2026

**This guide is for individuals who have previously registered with Swimming Canada before.** If you do not have an existing account in REMS, do not follow the steps in the guide. 1. Navigate to Self-Registration Link

Navigate to the following [link](https://swimming.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/registration/member-registration/club/64659), click the checkbox for **LMS Coach** and then click ***Register*** to be be prompted to log into your account.

***Tip:*** if your account is currently under your parent, you may need to use their email for the initial login and then separate the accounts once successfully logged in.

2. Login to REMS

3. Register as an LMS Coach

Once logged into REMS, Click **Register/Renew**.

Select the quantity of the LMS Coach membership as **1** then click **Continue**.

Use the ***drop-down menu*** to select the member you wish to register as an LMS Coach and then click ***Continue***.

***Review and update*** your personal information and then click ***Register****.*

A ***confirmation screen*** will appear indicating the registration has been successful.

4. Access the LMS from REMS

From the homepage, click the **Login to LMS / Connexion au PAL** button on your membership card.

**All LMS Coach accounts in REMS are designed to automatically expire once they have have been created. This is not an error and you can proceed with the following steps in this guide.**

Select **Coach** from the drop-down menu then click **Login to LMS / Connexion au PAL.**

If any error messages appear on this page after clicking **Login to LMS**, please contact ***support@swimming.ca***

You will now be successfully logged into your **LMS Coach account** in the LMS (Learning Management System).
