In the ***Flowchart*** panel, you'll see thumbnails of all the screens. Edit the default *Welcome Screen* by selecting the "**pencil**" icon on its thumbnail.

When the design templates appear, you can choose one or select “**Skip**.”

Selecting "**Skip**" will start a blank screen that says "*Hello World*.*"* You will see that the *Welcome Screen* opens in the ***Screen*** panel.

Use the *Flowchart* and *Screen* panel views to switch between seeing all the screens or individual screens.

In the top toolbar, you’ll see a variety of ***Static*** and ***Question*** components. Hover over each one to learn what it does.

Let’s add a *Static* component. You can add as many *Static* components as you want to each screen. Select the “**Text block**” component.

Select the “**Edit**” icon with a pencil.

Type in your text, format it, and select "**Save**."

Now let's add an image. Select the “**Image**” component.

On the right-hand side, the ***Component*** panel will open. Select “**Upload or Link Image**.”

Select "**Upload**" and choose an image.

The "*Hello World"* text block is editable, but you won’t need it here. Delete it by selecting the "**Trash**" icon.

Select "**Delete Component**."

Finally, **select and drag** the components around the page to arrange and resize them. Once everything’s in place, you’ve just built a *Welcome Screen*!
