View Position History in UCPath

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for viewing position history, including the current and previous incumbents assigned to the position.

Navigate to UCPath [https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu](https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu/home)

On the **Workforce Administration** homepage, click the **Position Management** tile.

On the left navigation pane, expand the **Position Inquiry** folder.

Select the **Position History** menu option.

Enter search criteria in one or more search fields. For best results, enter the position number.

Click the **Search** button.

If the position is currently filled, the *Position History* page displays the current incumbent's details and, if applicable, information for any employees previously assigned to the position.
