2026 Convention Registration Guide

Follow this guide to learn how to register attendees for the 2026 Convention via the Cvent platform. This guide includes how to register multiple people, registering on behalf of another person, and processing payment.

Attendee Registration

Select your registration Type: \- 'Community College Attendee' - anyone who works for a Community College in Iowa - Community College Attendee - anyone who works for an Iowa Community College - Partner - Anyone from a partnering organization who does not work at one of Iowa's community colleges (i.e. Iowa Department of Education) - Speaker - anyone who is attending the Convention as a speaker who isn't employed by an Iowa community college or considered a partnering organization.

For Community College Attendees - select your college. For Partners & Speakers - write in the name of your company/organization.

Enter the first name, last name, and email address for the attendee.

Type the mobile phone number into the designated field. Phone numbers will only be used for access to the event app, so should be a number the attendee plans to use at the event to access the program and other app features.

Select the attendee's role. For staff, faculty, or other, there will be an additional question to provide their Job Title. For presidents and trustees, you do not need to provide their Job Title.

Select the correct option under Food Restrictions for your attendee.

If you select 'Allergy or Other Restriction,' you will be prompted to provide additional details.

If you are registering on behalf of someone else, select the checkbox.

Enter your first name, last name, and email address.

Click "Next"

Admission Selection

Select the correct admission item. Please note that an attendee can only be registered for either the Convention + Awards or the Awards Dinner Only. As noted in the ticket description, the Convention + Awards ticket includes the Awards Dinner. The Optional Item for the Pre-Convention Leadership Meeting (Lunch) is for those attending a meeting before the Convention on Tuesday, December 1 who needs to purchase lunch. Please note that NO outside food is permitted at the venue.

Click "Next"

If you are registering one person - you can review the order summary and select the correct payment method you'd like to use. If you would like CCforIowa to invoice you, select that option and they will issue an invoice closer to the event date.

Registering Additional Attendees

If you need to register another attendee, click "Register Another Person" - please note that this the only way to get the group discount rate.

Select the registration type for the new group member.

Click "Next"

Select the correct College or provide your Company/Organization.

Enter the group member's personal information.

Select their Role

Select their Food Restrictions.

Click "Next"

Select which ticket item you need for this attendee. Please note that for the group discount rate, it will only be applied if you have 10+ people registered for the Convention + Awards. If you have 10 people in your group but one or more of them are only registered for the Awards Dinner Only ticket, the discount rate will not be applied.

Click "Next"

Continue the registration process until you have registered all attendees in your group (for either that point in time or overall).

Once you have successfully registered your group for the 10+ discount rate, you will see the price automatically change on the Order Summary page from $350 to $300.

Payment and Submission

Once you have completed registering your(self or group), select the payment option and provide details as prompted.

Click 'Submit' to finalize the registration. You will be able to modify your registration either directly on the confirmation page that pops up after submission, or by clicking on the link provided to you in the confirmation email for your registration group.
