How To Request A Recurring Reservation in Virtual EMS

Navigate to [https://www.calendar.rochester.edu](https://www.calendar.rochester.edu/Default.aspx)

Sign into your Virtual EMS Account.

Click the on the template best suited for your event. For this demonstration we are going to be using the 4-day template, as we do not require any services.

Click "book now"

Input the start and end time of your reservations and select the first date you are looking to have your reservation on.

The calendar will not let you select any dates that are not when classes are in session. If you are not able to select the date you are looking for - confirm you request is more than the required number of day for the template you selected and that it is not before or after classes.

Click "Recurrence"

For this demonstration we are looking to make a weekly recurring meeting. So we will select the "Weekly" option.

Click the day of the week. in this case - Thursday.

Select the end date that you would like the recurrences to stop on or by

For our meeting, we are going to select the last day of classes.

Click "Apply Recurrence"

You can see the recurrences have been created as the date feature has gone away.

Now time to find a room that is available. Click "Search"

Click the "+" Symbol next to a room that you would like to request. This will add it to "your cart".

Enter the expected number of attendees and click "Add Room"

Click "Next Step"

Fill out the reservation details as you would for any other reservation.

You can always click on My Cart to edit, add to or view the recurrences before submitting your reservation request for review.

Click "Create Reservation". You did it!
