Navigate to <https://ocps.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/auth/>

At the top of the Parent Portal Registration Site, you may select your preferred language.

Click "I am a new parent who has never had children enrolled in OCPS"

Create your account by completing all sections. *Passwords must include 8 characters- 1 number, 1 capital letter and 1 symbol. \ **Write down your email and password to refer back to later if needed.***

Click "I would like to APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT for a new child."

Enter information for the child you are submitting an intake request for.

Please enter the information exactly as it appears on your child's birth certificate.

Click "Submit"

Click "Start" under "New & Transfer Student Application".

Complete Page 1: Student Information

Indicate the grade for the 2026-2027 school year.

Indicate if your child has attended an OCPS school before.

Complete all questions regarding your child's student information.

Select the type of birthdate verification document that you will be requested to upload.

Upload, scan, or take a picture of your child's birth certificate or passport.

Click "Save".

Click "Next Page"

Begin completing Page 2: Address & Guardian Information.

Select the "Verification of Residence Type" you will be asked to upload.

Upload, scan, or take a picture of the "Verification of Residence Type" you selected.

Select the county you live in.

Complete the address fields.

Indicate if the mailing address is different than the address above.

Complete the Primary Parent/ Guardian Section.

Option to complete "Second Parent/ Guardian (Same Address)."

Indicate if there is "another parent/guardian who lives at a different address"

Option to add emergency contacts other than the parents/guardians listed above.

Upload, scan, or take a picture of the "Verification of Guardianship Documentation".

Answer remaining questions.

Click "Save"

Click "Next Page"

Indicate if your child is a student of special education or if they have an active IEP. Upload, scan, or take a picture of the student's IEP.

Answer the remaining student information questions.

Click "Save"

Click "Next Page"

Complete Page 4: Immunization & Records Release. Upload, scan, or take a picture of "your proof of immunization" and "your proof of physical examination".

Upload, scan, or take a picture of "verification of academic history".

Answer questions regarding your child's academic history.

Click the "Yes" field.

Indicate if you "Authorize the Release of Information. Click "Click to Sign"

Click "Sign"

Answer questions on Page 5: Student Residency Questionnaire.

Click "Save"

Select or type the date your child started attending school in the United States.

Answer remaining questions.

Click "Save"

Page 8: Zoned School Information. Answer the question "Are you applying to your zoned school? **Click the "No - I need another option" field.**

Under "School Transfer Notice", **select "I am applying for a different transfer reason."**

You will be provided with a list of transfer reasons. **Our department falls under Child Find/ Evaluation Process.**

At the bottom of Page 8, you will use the dropdown arrow for Transfer Reason and select **Child Find/ Evaluation Process.**

Under "Select Transfer School", click "▼" and select "PRIVATE SCHOOL"

Click " Save" and click "Next Page"

Page 10: Parent/ Guardian Signature. Click "Click to Sign"

Sign along the line and click the "Sign" button once finished.

Click "Save"

Click "Submit"

Click "Confirm"

This will direct you to your parent main page. You will find the application under "Completed". You will be able to view and edit your application/form, view the status, and download your submitted application.
