Create ParentSquare Appointment Sign Ups 26/27

This guide provides a step-by-step process for setting up appointment sign-ups on ParentSquare. Check out the "Guide Me" button to be taken through the steps on your own ParentSquare page.

Parentsquare

Navigate to [https://www.parentsquare.com/](https://www.parentsquare.com/schools/22177/feeds)

Click the drop-down arrow on the New Post button.

Click "Appointment Sign Ups."

Choose the first "Date" of conferences as **Thursday, October 22nd**.

Click "Add Another Day."

Choose the second "Date" of conferences as **Thursday, November 5th**.

Create a "Start Time" of 4:00 PM. *\*Note: You have to click on the hour and minute to change them.*

Create an "End Time" of 7:30 PM.

Create an "Appointment Duration" and "Break between Appointments." *\*Note: We typically recommend 20 minute appointments with no break or 15 minute appointments with a 5 minute break. There is no standard however so set up as you wish.*

Click the "Hide names of users who sign up" field. \**Note: DO NOT check the "Limit to 1 appointment" box as this could cause issues later on. Leave the "Requires student information check on.*

Click "Next."

Double check the details on this page but nothing should need to be done. Click "Submit."

Click the "To" field and choose the class that best fits your needs.

Click the "Subject" field and change it to "*YOUR NAME*'s Conference Sign Ups."

Click the "Description" Field and paste the paragraph below or write one of your own. **Conferences will be held in Room \_ on Thursday, October 22nd and Thursday, November 5th.** **To sign up for a conference, click the Appointment Sign Ups button at the top of the page. Then choose from one of the available time slots listed.** **Please know that when you sign up, you will see confirmation on the sign-up page by seeing your name. You will NOT receive a confirmation email from ParentSquare, but you will receive a reminder from them the day before your appointment.** **If you would like to schedule a conference with any additional staff member who may work with your child, you can access more schedules from the original post.** **Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you on the day of your conference!**

**IMPORTANT! DO NOT Click Post Now.** Click the drop-down next to the Post Now button as we want to schedule this out and grab the share link instead.

Click "Schedule."

Choose July 1,2027 as your scheduled date. This post will be deleted before that date arrives.

Click the "h:mm AM" field and leave it as the default time. This time is irrelevant as the post will never go out on this date.

Click "Schedule." **IMPORTANT!** You will know that you have done this correctly if the button reads "Schedule" and not "Post Now."

Make sure the publishing numbers look correct and click "Schedule."

Click "Share" on the right side.

Click "Get a link."

Click "Copy to Clipboard."

Click "OK."

Paste that link in your School's tab by your name in [this document](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RMJSzWtdAVsFQ5jFfYwpwSBAnZeT9yfL82AQSCxKD0I/edit?usp=sharing). You can also use this link when you need to share with parents before the post goes live.

If you need to add an IS, co-teacher, administrator, etc., click "Manage Collaborators."

In the "Select User" field, find the collaborator.
