Add and Manage Languages In CustomerHub

This guide shows how to add up to five languages and fully localize your CustomerHub interface by editing translation fields, previewing changes live, and linking Shopify language settings with C:Hub. It explains how to add and publish languages in Shopify, import them into C:Hub, and where to manage menu-specific translations. Language Overview

Inside of the C:Hub editor, you'll see on the left side, the 'Language' tab. From here, you can manage all of the language fields for the C:Hub customer account. Not only can you update the text in each field, you can also add up to 5 languages!

Updating language fields

Inside of the 'Language' tab, you'll see a 'Translations' section, that contains all of the language fields, that can be edited on the customer account. This also includes a search feature, so if you were to search 'View Last Order', for example, you'll be shown the editable field for 'View Last Order', and any changes you make to this field, will be shown live, in the preview.

Adding new Language in Shopify

To add additional languages to the C:Hub app, you first need to have additional languages added and configured on the Shopify platfrom. To add a new langauge to Shopify, you can simply click on the 'Manage languages in Shopify' button, inside of the 'Langauge' tab.

This will take you to the Shopify settings > langauge section of their platform. From here, simply click 'Add Language' up the top right.

Select the langauge you'd like to add, from the list in the pop-up window and then press 'Next', down the bottom right.

Once the language has been added, click on the button with three dots, and click 'Publish' to publish the language to your Shopify store.

Adding new language in C:Hub

Once the language has been added to the Shopify platform, you'll see a drop down inside of the 'Language' tab, inside of the C:Hub editor, called: - Add Language - Simply click on this drop down to select the language you'd like to add. Once selected, click 'Add'.

You'll now be able to update the fields, for the language you've added. As well as see inside of the live preview, the fields all updated with the new langauge that's been added.

You'll also notice while editing the langauge fields, that the menu translations haven't changed and can't be managed from the 'Language' tab, instead, these are managed directly on the 'Menu Builder', if you click on the edit icon for each menu tab, you'll see a new translation field, that can be edited directly.
