Menu Builder Overview

In this guide, we'll show you how to expand on default menu build into the C:Hub Customer Accounts Hub app. We'll demonstrate how to add: - **Custom Links** - Links to youtube videos, dropbox files, contact forms, etc - **Shopify Pages** - Pages build on the Shopify platform that can load directly inside of the customer account page - **App Integrations** - Tracking pages, rewards widgets, etc Which can be added to both the account menu and or the secondary links menu.

When loading into the editor to manage your C:Hub Customer Accounts, you can clikc on the 'Menu Builder' tab on the left side. This will give you access to manage the menu builder. The menu already has 4 default menus that have been configured for you: - **For You** - The default landing page that gives customers access to the '**For You**' page - **Orders** - Where customers can view and manage all orders - **Profile** - Where customers can view and edit their personal details and addresses - **Logout** - A button built into the menu to allow customers to easily log out of the customer account

Update existing menu items

If you click on the edit icon beside the 'For You', 'Orders' or 'Profile' tab, you'll see that you can change the: - **Menu Text** - Update the text displayed on the menu tab - **Only Show to Customers Tagged with** - Allowing you to only show the menu tab, to customers with the corresponding tag - **Menu Visibility** - A toggle allowing you to toggle on or off the visibility of the menu tab being edited (Please note, you cannot toggle off the visibility of the menu tab that is set as the default landing page/tab of the customer account)

If you click on the edit icon for the 'Logout' menu tab, you'll simply be given the option to change the: - **Menu Text** Please also note, the logout button is not displayed within the menu of the panel/mobile version and instead, is located at the bottom of the panel as a stand alone button.

Add Custom Links to the Menu

To add a new custom link to the menu, simply click "+ Custom Link" button:

You can now configure the new custom link you've just created. Simply click on the edit icon. In this section you can edit the: - **Menu Text** - Update the text displayed on the menu tab - **Link URL** - The link to the page, website, blog, video, download, etc you'd like the menu tab to open - **Link Target** - Allows you to choose between opening in the same window, or a new tab - **Only Show to Customers Tagged with** - Allowing you to only show the menu tab, to customers with the corresponding tag - **Show menu item on Account Panel and mobile** - A toggle allowing you to toggle on or off the visibility of the menu tab on the panel/mobile version

Add Shopify Pages to the Menu

Unlike custom links, Shopify pages are able to load directly inside of the C:Hub Customer Accounts. So instead of navigating away from the customer account expereince to view a custom link. Shopify pages load seamlessly inside of the customer account and retain the menu, profile card, etc. A Shopify page is simply any page, that's built using the 'Pages' tab inside of the Shopify admin panel. They're easy to identify as the link to them always ends in /pages/. So for example: <https://my_example_store.myshopify.com/pages/contact> These can be pages you make, or pages built by 3rd party apps or Shopify themselves.

To add a Shopify page to the Menu, simply click '+ Shopify Page'

You can now configure the new Shopify Page you've just created. In this section you can edit the: - **Menu Text** - Update the text displayed on the menu tab - **Shopify Page** - Select the Shopify page you'd like to use. Simply select the page you'd like to use or use the search bar to type in the page name. - **Only Show to Customers Tagged with** - Allowing you to only show the menu tab, to customers with the corresponding tag - **Show menu item on Account Panel and mobile** - A toggle allowing you to toggle on or off the visibility of the menu tab on the panel/mobile version - **Load Page in Customer Account** - Default set to on, however you can toggle this off to load the page, outside of the customer account.

Add app integrations to the Menu

Within the Menu Builder, you're able to add your favorite apps, directly to the menu, to trigger links, pages, widgets etc. To get started, simply click "+ App Integration"

You can then choose the integration you'd like to add, from the list of menu integrations.

Once added, you'll see the new integration added to the menu. However you can also click on the edit icon, and change the: - **Menu Text** - Update the text displayed on the menu tab - **Integration** - Want to change the integration? Simply click the 'Change Integration' button to select another app to replace this one with. - **Only Show to Customers Tagged with** - Allowing you to only show the menu tab, to customers with the corresponding tag - **Show menu item on Account Panel and mobile** - A toggle allowing you to toggle on or off the visibility of the menu tab on the panel/mobile version - **Load Page in Customer Account** - Default set to on, however you can toggle this off to load the page, outside of the customer account. *(This may no be available on some menu integrations as some may need to load outside of the customer account)*

Adding 'Seconday Links' works in same way as the primary menu builder. However the menu tabs are instead, added below the profile card. You can use this to add 'custom links, 'shopify pages' and 'app integrations' in the same way, you would on the primary menu.
