Tip! Creating an event on Wix is a multi-step process. The first step outlined below is to create a draft event. You will not be able to add tickets, pricing, registration fields, event policies etc until the event draft is created and saved.

Click "Events"

Click "Add Event"

Add the name of the event.

Add a short teaser about the event.

Add an event image (16:9 format).

Add start/end dates and times.

Click the "Add an address or venue name" field. Please note, if you type the name of the venue and select the correct address, you will need to click back into the Event location and change that field back to the name of the venue.

Add in details about the event. You can also add in links, pictures, social shares, videos and other fun items to help promote the event.

Click "Create Draft" This will save the event.

Add the name of the event.
