Setting up MFA in Tall Bob

This guide provides detailed steps required for a user to setup an MFA in their Tall Bob account

**Prerequisite:** Please ensure you have an authenticator app of your choice installed on your mobile device or desktop before proceeding, as you will need it to scan the QR code and complete the MFA setup.

Navigate to [app.tallbob.com](https://app.tallbob.com/) \ \ Enter your username and password, then click the Login button to continue.

Click on the 'Settings' icon in the top right corner and choose the 'My Profile' option

Once you are on the Profile page, click the Manage MFA button.

A pop-up will appear, allowing you to set up your authenticator. Use your preferred Authenticator app to scan the QR code displayed on the screen. After the QR code has been scanned and the setup is complete, your Authenticator app will generate a One-Time Password (OTP). Enter the generated code in the MFA Code field and click Save to complete the setup.

Once the MFA setup has been saved successfully, click the Close button to exit the pop-up.

And that's it! MFA has now been successfully set up for your Tall Bob account. From now on, when you log in to the platform you will be prompted to enter the MFA code generated by your Authenticator app. You can choose to trust a device you use regularly, so you are not asked every time - you will still be asked to confirm a code for sensitive actions.
