Navigating CUNY Cayuse Human Ethics Dashboard and Studies

Learn how to effectively navigate the Cayuse Human Ethics interface to locate specific studies and review submission tasks. This guide helps users manage their research documentation and track study status within the platform.

Platform Navigation

Select "Human Ethics" from the Products dropdown menu.

Study Search and Archival

Once in the Human Ethics application you will see your Dashboard. From the Dashboard you can view your Studies and open Tasks. By scrolling down you can also see Approved Studies and Expired or Expiring Studies.

To Navigate to your Studies click "View All" within the My Studies section.

Once you are on the Studies tab you can select your study or use the smart search functionality. You will first want to select the category you would like to search by, then type in the identifier you are searching for.

If you need to view a closed study, you can select the "Archive" tab to view archived studies.

Submissions and Task Management

To view your Submissions, navigate to the Submissions tab.

Once you are on the Submissions tab you can select your submission or use the smart search functionality. You will first want to select the category you would like to search by, then type in the identifier you are searching for.

To view any open Tasks, navigate to the Tasks tab. These will be action items are assigned specifically for you to complete.

You can also view your previously assigned and open tasks by clicking on the bell icon.
