Understanding your Dashboard

We want to give you the context and knowledge to understand your overview dashboard, read the information, and get the most out of this view. This lesson will walk you through the dashboard and how to read and interpret the information.

The Overview dashboard gives you a single view of the telemetry insights gathered across your PC fleet. You can look into the health, application experience and security of your PCs and see the data in trend form over time. Your dashboard is customizable with what widgets appear and where.

Tip! Health, Application and Security telemetry data appears when… - SupportAssist is successfully configured & deployed to send back data - PC is connected to the internet - PC is on with active user - Active basic service plan or above

Tip! Scores, trends and recommendations have **different timetables** - most recent available data, daily/weekly or 30-day snapshots.

The **Health** tile displays the overall health score, as well as, the number of healthy and unhealthy PCs, the number of PCs that need attention and the status for each category.

The **Application experience** tile displays the application experience score, as well as the number of applications with issues, most used applications and the status for each category.

The **Security** tile shows the security score and the number of PCs at risk, as well as the number of PCs that need attention, those that are secure and the status of each category. For security scores to populate you must enable **Dell Trusted Device** in your deployment package. If this tile is blank, you will need to go back and enable this functionality.

PC recommendations appear when... - SupportAssist is successfully configured & deployed to send back data - PC is connected to the internet - PC is on with active user - Active basic service plan or above - Scans run based off your configuration preferences. - PC must be plugged in or battery greater than 50%

The PC recommendations tile shares recommendations in 30-day increments that helps improve PC efficiency.

You can view alerts, PC utilizations, service plans, software versions and PC connected to Dell in one place. - Alerts - See all active alerts. - PC Utilizations - Shares insights about overall performance of your PC fleet. - Service Plans - View your PC entitlements in one place. - Software versions - Easily see what software version your PCs are running and how many on what version. - PC connected to Dell - View how many PCs are connected and sending data back to Dell. If the connected number is lower than anticipated, review the connectivity criteria in the tips above. Remember, your dashboard is customizable with what widgets appear and where.
