Removing MFA registration from Microsoft Authenticator

This guide shows how to safely remove your Baptist Health multifactor authentication (MFA) account from the Microsoft Authenticator app. Follow it to ensure MFA is fully unregistered on your device to avoid any issues transitioning to the new Microsoft 365 cloud environment.

Tap the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device to open it.

Tap your Baptist Health account.

Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the app.

Tap "Remove account".

Tap "All apps on this device".

If prompted, type in your Baptist Health account password and tap "Sign in".

When Authenticator asks you if you want to "Approve sign in request", tap "Yes" (or "Approve" if you have a newer version of Microsoft Authenticator).

You have now successfully removed your MFA registration for your Baptist Health account from your Authenticator app.
