Navigate to UNB Libraries <https://lib.unb.ca/eresources?form_id=eres_databases> to find an EBSCO database to search (Academic Search Premier for example)

Once you've opened the database, click the name that appears next to "Searching" - in this example you'd click on "Academic Search Premier"

Once a new window opens, click the "Select all" field to select all EBSCO databases that UNB Libraries subscribes to.

Click "Select" button at the bottom of the window.

Now type your search terms in the search box and hit enter. In this example, we're searching for information about "bird song AND crows".

Alert! Depending on your topic, the number of search results may increase after you've selected all the EBSCO databases to be searched at the same time.

Depending on the number of results, and your interest, you can now use a filter to see which databases the results are coming from. Click "All Filters" to bring up the list of filter options. These will open as a new window on the right side of your screen.

Click "Databases" to expand the drop-down list of all databases.

Click "+23 more" to view the full list. From this list you can see the total number of results found in each database. You can them select one or more databases here, or scroll through your results, noting under the publication details which database the result is from.

Tip! It can be overwhelming to search all EBSCO databases simultaneously, so we don't recommend this method of database searching for every search. It can be most useful when you're unsure of which database to choose, or to discover whether your topic may be studied by another field and which subject databases to explore further.
