How to Create a Birthday Segment

Birthday data from Punchh will sync automatically into TapOnIt. Note: Standard demographic fields like Birthday are found under the Demographics category (instead of Integrations). That’s because TapOnIt provides these filters as built-in options for all clients, whether or not you use Punchh. Unlike Punchh-specific fields (such as Loyalty Points or Visits), Birthday is a standard field that anyone can segment on. Let's jump into how to create a birthday segment!

In your TapOnIt Admin, go to **Audience > Segments**. Click **Create Segment**.

Give your segment a clear name and description.

1. Select **Demographics**. 2. Choose **Birthday** from the dropdown. 3. Select **Month**. 4. Pick the birthday month you’d like to target.

Done! 🎉 Your segment will now include all subscribers with that birthday month on file, whether the data came from Punchh or TapOnIt.
